Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text should be single-spaced in 12-point Book Antiqua font.
  • References should be provided with a DOI identifier (where available).
  • The manuscript submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word or RTF file format.
  • Submitted material has not been previously published or peer-reviewed for another journal.
  • The text must comply with the formal requirements set out in the authors' guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The Editorial Board invites authors to submit manuscripts for publication to the OTS in electronic format to the following address: hufnagellevente@wjlf.hu

Some formal requirements

Authors are requested to use Book Antiqua font, 12-point body text, no italics allowed in text (except for Latin names of species). No line breaks between paragraphs.

Authors are requested to use endnotes, not footnotes.

Authors are asked to include the DOI number in the bibliography of references with a DOI number after the reference.

A detailed template can be obtained from the editorial office.

Others

Other articles that do not fit into the main columns, such as interviews, biographies, book reviews, etc.

The data collected from registered and non-registered users of this journal falls within the scope of the standard functioning of peer-reviewed journals. It includes information that makes communication possible for the editorial process; it is used to inform readers about the authorship and editing of content; it enables collecting aggregated data on readership behaviors and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

The editors of the journal strive to meet industry standards for data protection, including the rights of data subjects under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR also sets out specific rules for data processed for archiving purposes in the public interest and for scientific and historical research purposes.
